Peer Pressure

You'd think that a woman of my age - and I'm not saying what that is!!! - would be able to resist peer pressure, but you'd be wrong.

I've gone and joined this. Heddy did it, it's all her fault! If I hadn't read about it on her blog I would never have known about it. So, in a way I guess Lexa is to blame as well, because she introduced me to Heddy's blog. But, yes, I know, it's really my own fault because I could have resisted.

But, on the plus side, even if I fail - there's going to be lots of Christmas, birthday and such gifts made while I give it my best shot. Jennifer - what color do you want for your socks??

Oh, incase you couldn't tell, I like the new blogger way of doing links - so much easier on my head!

It's a rainy day, which means an inside lunch. Must find some yarn and my sock needles to start a pair of socks as I walk the hallways.

Have a good one!

Good luck with your project! You can't fail with this, you just end up with lots of finished gifts.

I can't see me actually making all 52 pairs, that's for sure. But I think it will be motivational to say the least. I'm thinking of the baby/toddler socks, they're quick, plus I have lots of leftovers to use, and holidays/birthdays, etc. Worth a try!

lol ... I just read your post ! I didn't realize you read m y blog ... sorry to have dragged you into the Plunge! heheheh!

It is fun so far, but i am behind, and have no intention of getting all 52 pairs done -- I am just looking for a motivator, so I will get some knitting done, and gifts made (guess there will be lots of socky gifts under the tree this year!)

How are you doing with the plunge?

Hi Dorothy ... thanks for the good advice about my toe -- Just wahat the Dr. ordered! lol!

I am hoping to get to the WWKIPDay at Memory Lane - I work in the Recreation Dept. and we run a fishing Derby that day in Western Head, so I hope to be back in town and cleaned up (ie; not smelling like a fresh caught trout!) by the time it all starts. I think it will be a hoot to have a bunch of us knit in public downtown!

Pray for good weather!
